hello everyone
i am still learning about LDAP, and i found that ldap have its own structure so it will saved in form of LDIF file. but in my company, i cant find LDIF file for saving the data, i only able to get LDIF file when i export the data, the data looks like saved in SYBASE SQL, so i confused, 1.why the sistem used SYBASE SQL, not LDIF file for saving the data?
3. What the connection between LDAP and sybase SQL in this case?
4. What is Iplanet directory used for?and the connection between LDAP, Sybase, and Iplanet?
sorry, i am a really2 newbie.......
