LDAP Issue 1

I'm having an unbelievable struggle setting up LDAP to work with GroupWise.

Here's what I've done:

NetWare 6, GroupWise 6.5

- loaded NLDAP.NLM on SERVER1
- From ConsoleOne:

Tools/GroupWise System Operations/LDAP Servers..., I've added SERVER1 to the list and added all post offices in the GroupWise system to be serviced by SERVER1 and LDAP.

- In the Post Office object properties in ConsoleOne, GroupWise/Security...

Enabled High Security, checked by eDir authentication and LDAP authentication.

Added an admin user in the user/password field and added SERVER1 to the LDAP server list.

When trying to login using the Windows client, the client ultimately says, "LDAP failure detected" when trying to enter the password.

The POA NLM screen also shows LDAP Error: 13

What am I missing????

Error 13 Cause/Fix: This error will occur when SSL is NOT being used AND the LDAP Group Object is not configured to use Clear Text Passwords. This can be resolved by either enabling SSL or by editing the LDAP Group Object and checking the "Allow Clear Text Passwords" box.
