Hi! I need to get Authenticated Listing from my LDAP on my Exchange 5.5 server. I have an application that requires it. Exchange 5.5 is running on 2000 Server. My AD is running on another 2000 server. When I log in Anonymosly, I can get the full listing fine. When I try to log in using a username, I get an error that my Credentials are Invalid. I tried different users including Administrator and another Exchange Service Account. LDAP is enabled on the Exchange and when I disable it I get a different error saying it is not responding. LDAP is setup to accept Clear Text Authentication. Come someone give me any clues.

Try to bind with the userPrincipleName and password of a user ...

I'm not sure what you mean by that? I'm typing in cn=UserName and that does not work.

The userPrincipleName is usually something like user@corp.company.com ...

If you can browse the LDAP directory in anyway you will see this attribute associated with a user ...

What tool are you using to query Exchange?

-Chris Larivee

Well, I installed a Spam Mail Program, but their tech support recommended that I install Softerra LDAP Browser. It must be something in my settings.
