hi all
iam unable to set up ldap server
when i run the command
/usr/sbin/slapd.conf -d 64 -f /etc/openldap/slapd.conf
it gives me this ...plz explain me what all this means and what is the problem and how to fix it up

daemon: socket() failed errno=97 (Address family not supported by protocol)
daemon: bind (6) failed errno=98 (Address already in use)
daemon: bind(6) failed
slapd stopped
connections_destroy: nothing to destroy

These errors indicate that slapd is already running. Run:
Code:
killall slapd
. You should then be able to restart slapd with debugging like you had orriginally tried.
