Hello,
I havea bit of a problem with a Windows 2003 DC and a windows 2003 member server that has Exchange 2003 SP2 on it. Every now and again for some reason I get hundreds of these errors within about a 5 min window:
Event ID 8026
According to Microsoft:
when the Kerberos ticket for the server temporarily expires. This is especially likely when only one Windows global catalog server is available. Recovery from Kerberos ticket expiration typically occurs very quickly. In this case, the event is not a cause for alarm.
Yeah whatever! I have a company that cannot lose it's Exchange server for 5 min, its a nightmare to say the least.
I have only 500 users I can imagine what this would do to a company with a few thousand employees.
I have used a few utility programs to find if there were any old servers in the AD. This is a self correcting issue and it happens at random times.
I only get that error in the event viewer. This reders the Exchange server usless untill it fixes the (I am assuming) Kerberos ticket issue.
Any help would be awesome.
Thank you in advance.
