Ldap-browser works, web-browser finds nothing

Yes, thats the whole problem.
I am using openldap 2027 and 2215 on win2000,
but none of them works with my webbrowser(no errors, just nothing found),
whereas my ldap-browsers have no probs at all.
Does anyone know what i did wrong with the config?

I just found out, that if i pass the searchphrase via the adressbar,
like ldap://127.0.0.1:389/dc=company,dc=de,
i get my results, but not with only
ldap://127.0.0.1:389
