Hey Guys,
I am working as MSTR Admin.... and lately we started using LDAP authentication for loggin into to MSTR Web...An now our business users want only LDAP login and they don't want to see Standard Authentication option on login page. But here comes the problem....the thing is Microstrategy Administrator account doesn't have LDAP account...so if we deactivate the Standard authetication...we cannot login to web using admin account. We have few options, like mapping one LDAP account of the MSTR development group to MSTR Administrator account....but it has the prob of revealing LDAP pwd to the whole dev group.....the other option is just deny the access to MSTR user group by changing the MSTR pwd of each account thus only encourage them to use LDAP Account and password to login.....Is there any other way of solving this problem......since the two options i specified above seem to be a long shot......any help in this regard is really appreciated......thanks in advance......

hmm, how about creating another "administrator" id that is mapped to the LDAP system. ie in your LDAP create a user called "MSTRAdmin", and for the privileges bypass all security checks?

I would then retire the use of the "administrator" userid

thanks for sharing ur view nlim......anyways i got around it by changing a security role at the user level and without any license issue. thanks again....
