Hello:

Does anyone have any ideas or know if it would be possible, and if it is possible how it would be done...I need to get information from an Access Database into our LDAP Server.

Thanks,

Paul

Well, there are a couple of things...
1) use a metadirectory (probally overkill if this is a one time event)
2) dump the db to a csv file, and write a perl or other script to parse the file and write a LDIF compliant file for import...

This is what I have off the top of my head... but mroe info is required .. is it soemthing that will be done once and forgotten, does the db and ldap have to stay in synch, etc

John:

Thanks fotr the reply. The answer to yor question is no, it doesn't have to stay in synch. It will be a one time transfer from Access to LDAP. At that time we will update LDAP on a continuous basis.

Thanks,

paul
