LD Call rejected with CPND on phone

I am unable to complete a call to a specific number if my name or anything is assigned in the CPND of the phone. The carrier shows a leading "?" in the name field. Earthlink. If the name is "outed" on the extension the call completes. I've traced the call and I am not inserting the"?".

If i direct select another carrier the call completes. So its the carrier....correct?
