i have an option 11c fully installed when any change is made i have to go to ld 43 and do an edd
when doing so i get an error saying
EDD016 NO GO. BAD DATA
it seems like the disk is full what should i do to be able to save changes..
The system is not allowing you to backup as the cooruption flag has been set. it is possible to overide this, and back up regardless using EDD CLR, but then you could be potentially backing up the software corruption its your call. I've had this error numerous times and after an EDD CLR have had no problems, but this is no guarentee. You could go to LD 143, use XBK, followed by XVR to get the last successful EDD backup file onto a PC, then if you experience problems, you can restore this back up to the system.
might try a edd clear.. but that just backs up the corruption.. best bet is to get someone in pdt to clean it up.. in the mean time, document all changes..
btw.. zero chance of the drive being full.. i maintain an 81c with 600 trunks and 7000 users.. it backs up to a single floppy..
a lot of data when you keep mr gates out of the loop..
