I have a CS1000E that was upgraded from an Option 11. I have two universal cards, with both having free ports. I wanted to free up a card slot in the chassis. One of the universal card has only the music on hold port active on port three.

In looking at this and attempting to rebuild an additional music connection I ran into a road block. The conference loop numbering post upgrade have changed. The equipment record now indicates that only the conference loops on the media gateway cards are active. I get an error if the CFLP 29 is used.

I have gone into ld 38 and notice the following. I proceeded to attempt to activate them.

>ld 38
CNF000
.stat 125

CHAN 00 DSBL 00 BUSY
.enll 125

.stat 125

Going into element manager I see that loops 125 and 127 are enabled, but element manager also displays the dsbl information immediately above. Something is missing.
is the syntax of the enable command accurate or does something in an additional load have to be activated.

I am now sitting at the following point with nothing happening:

my guess is the MUSIC route is configured okay but conference loop is not active. How do you make it active?

What do you get when you print out CEQU in LD 22.
You should still be able to add a new conference loop in CEQU from LD 17.
Add 29 if it's not there and then put it on the music trunk.

It is telling you that no channels are disabled on the loop BTW not that the card is disabled

like Wooliepride says print your CEQU and see what is assigned to what

It all looks fine to me, I see nothing wrong. It should work.

it was muy understanding that when a system was upgraded from an opt 11c to a 1000E that the music and RAN's had to be configured as broadcast---not with a conf pack.

I have actually seen this before and I think it is in the upgrade procedure. That conference loop 29 doesn't exist anymore in the new upgraded switch. Out the music trunk and rebuild it and you should be fine. The route should not have to be touched.
