LD 31 Test 3904

Hello,

SPRE won't test 3904 phones through LD31.

What is the command I need to enable to allow a full test of a phone to see if all the buttons work?

It seems that when I printed out the CDB, SPRE has no number? How do I change the customer block so that SPRE is 1 and not blank

Often the SPRE is left blank or is given a number that doesn't conflict with the DN range. On large systems with loads of Networking, I used to change it from the default of "12" for Option 11 systems and "1" for larger systems to make it a 4 digit number.

SPRE was only really designed for analogue phones that used pulse or rotary dialling. It had limited functions.

I recall that the SPRE code and 92 proformed some tests on the M2xxx range of phones. Page 71 in the attached file shows this.

I'm not aware of any tests other than checking the firmware level and doing an IDU in LD 32.
