I am very new to Windows Live Communications Server and this is our first installation. Have a test server with windows 2003 installed and same configured as domain controller. Want to install the LCS on same machine. The error we get is "Failure [0x8007200A] The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist. " when we run the Prep Schema in Enterprise Pool. I know that the Schema_lcs2005.ldf has to be edited to point to the domain name.
Please let me know how to edit the file and where to make changes. Does it involve only the domain name or also the DC name?
What if i have created a seperate OU(named MainUsers)for domain users other than the default "Users" OU.
How to configure users from the domain to use the LCS?

If LCS requires making mods to the schema (sorry don't know much about LCS), then you will have to apply the changes on a DC that is running the schema master FSMO role and not just any DC. Be very careful on how you proceed in this case.

Thanks...i managed to install the same. Well its a test server so i dont have to worry about down time if anything goes wrong.
I am facing problems getting clients connected on workstations. Clients can log in directly on servers
