If I wanted to route calls out over a VOIP Gateway Trunk just for LD how would this be set up on a BCM 400 3.6? I have 4 VOIP GatewayTrunks and will probably use them for two things, one for 4 digit dialing and the other to route only LD calls back to my Meridian Opt. 81C

Build 2 routes pointing to the line pool that your IP trunks are in - one will be public, one will be private. Set your destination codes to route 91+whatever over the public route. You'll most likely need to add a public DN of 91 with a length of 12 digits, otherwise the system will attempt to route the call after 11 digits. You'll want to absorb 0 on the public route since the 81 will want to see the 9.

Point your CDP 4 digit destination codes to the private route.

That should get you going.

Thanks! biv343 I have a question for you. If I wanted to install these BCM's myself (and I might) can I without using a vendor? Or do I need them to download key codes or anything else?

I would recommend using a vendor, especially if you haven't installed one before. They would need to generate the keycodes for you anyways.
