I have an NBX hooked up to another PBX via analog CO ports on the NBX -> Analog FXS ports on the other PBX.

It works great but I would like to make any calls that match 3XX to go over one of these ports to the other system and 2XX to stay on the NBX.

Currently I have to press a mapped button to that line first or dial the CO port directly and have diagnostics turned on. Any ideas?

Fairly simple actually but not obvious...

go into netset/extension lists
click add
list extension is *0009 or whatever comes next
Name it something appropriate
add the ports that will use this route

go to operations and edit the dialplan (backup first)

this part is a little tricky if you dont know what you are doing. i will post the appropriate parts for yoursetup

TableEntry Create 1 4 3 3 3 Internal 0 10

the above should already be in your dialplan you just need to edit it to include the 10 (or whatever applies to your setup)

TableEntry Create 2 4 3 3 3 Internal 0 10

again same thing, just edit an existing line

DestinationRoute Create 10 VoIP

is added to the route description section. i use voip
and its #10.

DestinationRouteEntry Create 10 1 *0009

this line is an addition as well.
