Hi,

I just realized that my LCOB8 card has a little switch and it set to the "Service". Another option is "Normal". Which one should be and whats the difference?

Service means "temporarily out of order - due to service".
This is done if you park a board in a cabinet, maybe waiting for the second cabinet to arrive...
All active boards should be in the "Normal" position.

You could also park a card in the service position, if the numbers of CO lines are exceeding the limit of a ipLDK system or a cabinet in an ipLDK system.

That SW is used for selection of short loop loop in some special country. [special country(impedance=600ohm): Standard.India.Israel,China.

Normal position = Short loop
Service position = Long loop

Anyway there are not support the function of Normal/Service selection in ipLDK.

You can specified the loop resistance in PGM155 (Board Attribute)
