LCD Contrast Level 1

Hello,

I have a norstar 8X24DS. I have some phones that will only go a contrast level 4. I also have some phones that will go to 9 but only look like a level 4. I am no sure why this is occuring.

I do not recall ever having any thing other then 1 thru 4 on my 824 I maintain. I have never seen what you are disrcibing. Sorry.

The sets that have a contrast level of 1 to 4 were likely manufactured in 1992 or earlier. Since about 1992 the sets would support a range of contrast of 1 to 9 however this only provides more fine tuning than the older sets. The bottom to top contrast for either set is about the same.
