Hello,

Last night my monitor flickered once every 20 minutes or so for about an hour and today it has completely lost all of the red in the screen. It isn't the monitor as it shows the RGB spectrum on startup (before the input is found.) Now the screen has a light blue/green cast to it and anything red appears very dark and almost black. Yellow still shows through. It is an FPD1960 TFT LCD, but I really don't think its the monitor, and the connections are secured. I am using the VGA port on the back of the computer. Any ideas short of taking it in for out of warranty service?

Thanks everybody!

Yep, check the cable, e.g. by replacing it with a new one...

wiggle on it at the graphics card, and see if the color changes... do the same for the input side of the monitor...

if the colors change, it can be the cable or the ports, just observe if the ports are moving...

Only ask questions with yes/no answers if you want "yes" or "no"

Thanks, I had checked that the cable was secured by taking it off both ends and plugging it back in, wiggling it etc, but I'll try a new cable and see if that changes anything.
