Lazywriter warning SQL 6.5

Concerning SQL 6.5 with numorous disks in RAID 5.
Anybody any ideas what the message
"Lazywriter: WARNING, couldn`t find slot, 8/8, scanned 8"
means?
Can't find any help on this on technet etc
All suggestions welcome
