Lazarus is a Delphi clone, and I have tried it on Linux and Windows with success. Can anyone comment on the compatibility with Delphi? Can I just compile an entire Delphi project on Lazarus and have it run on linux? That would possibly prompt me to purchase Delphi.

from what I understand this is possible, as long as you use standard vcl components (or components that are already converted for lazarus compatibility)
