Hello
I've been using Layout Designer in Act 8.0 to create a new database design. In "Company" layout how do you create more real estate?
I would like to put more fields in to the top half (non tab) of the form?
Also, is it possible to get rid of the Hierachy field?

Many thanks in advance.

From this point, you should be able to do whatever you want. The Heirarchy field, though, seems to be somehow 'protected'. I can not find a way to delete it, but you can essentially hide it by setting its size to 0,0. To do so:

Hit F4 in Layout Designer to bring the properties window up. Select the Heirarchy field and, under the layout section in the properties window, set the control's size to 0,0.

Beyond that, if you want to create some more room, perhaps consider condensing the width of the other generic fields.
