I want to create a report that contains 3 or more sub-reports. I want a layout on the page like this...

RPT1XXXX RPT2XX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX RPT3XX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX

I know RPT1 is much longer than RPT2 and RPT3. (in this example).

What I get printed is something with a layout like this...

RPT1XXXX RPT2XX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX
XXXXXXXX XXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
XXXXXXXX
RPT3XX
XXXXXX
XXXXXX

Any tips on how to be able to 'float' subreports around or create columns on the main report that allow several reports in one column to align vertically independent of the subreports in the other column?

Just an abstract thought but never tried it though (feedback welcome), can you put RPT2 and RPT3 together as sub-reports on a new sub-report and have that one placed on the report with RPT1?

That's what I'm having to do (for now). I just hate to have an extra layer of sub-reports.
