I use Adobe Acrobat 6.0.1 Professsional for mac. I was emailed a pdf made from coreldraw essentials (windows). The 11x17 was set up as landscape. but everyway I tried to print (HP LaserJet 8100) it would only print portrait.
We have another mac that runs OS 10x, I run 10.3 on mine. The other mac printed the PDF just fine with no problems. but it also uses Adobe Acrobat 6.0 but I don't know if it's the professional. So basically, why does the pdf print from the other machine but not from mine. Please help.... Thanks

Yes, I have tried that numerous times. No matter how I change it in page set up. It still prints in portrait. could it be something in my mac operating system.

How exactly do I change my printer PPD? Thanks.

Under System Preferences>Print&Fax>setup printers.

Make a new printer with say the adobe PS printer driver (PPD) or a generic one.

Then see if that works.

Different PPD's give you Different results.

you can dowload heaps of different ones from the internet. e.g. I use Xerox and Richo printers I download their PPD's from there web site.
