Layers

How can i send a layer to the back ground or to the front in a movie
i have made a movie that includes 4 layer in each layer there is a window when i press on the windows i want to make that layer to be active( in the front )

Put everything on the same layer and use the swap depths fucntion.

i.e. myMovieClip.swapDepths(0);
