Hi,

I'm using Layers to produce drop-down navigation menus, but when I have form objects [especially select boxes] on a page, the layers hide behind the form object. I know you can use the z index of the layer to make sure it's always on top of images, but this doen't seem to work with the form objects. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance.

form objects always are on the top layer... maybe if you played around with <div> tags you might work-around, but I don't know of any easy solution.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Check DHTMLCentral.com

For one, they have a pretty robust, free pull-down menu set of scripts you can download and use.
Two, I think he has a script to hide a pesky form controls when the pull-down menu is over them...since they end up behind the control

yes that is a good point set the part of the form hidden when menu accessed or more specifically when menu over laps form object.
