Layer2 / Switch Lan port dying

I have an issue where the switch is loosing network connectivity after approx 20 minutes. I know the chassis needs to be changed, but i have also seen a command that can be put into keep the port alive. Ive tried searching to no avail.

Can anyone remember the command please.

found it after trawling the forum

period 900,mips_reset

Just to note, after entering that "period 900" command, when it kicks in users on IP calls involving the controller will notice a 1-2 second pause in audio. Also that command will have to be re-entered after a reboot.

Thanks, yes changed the chassis now so all good. Just needed to keep it running.
