Good Morning

I am working on my first personal project (enough to work for
others...) but the only one thing where I'm lacking experience
is the legal side of a web project.
I mean: do I absolutely have to display a long page of warnings
(disclaimer, etc...) and legal information to protect myself from
being taken in court by some stupid individual/company or could
I design the project without taking care of doing such an hassle?
If yes, do I have to pay a lawyer to get the job done?
Can I do it myself quite easily?
I have no experience in this field and I would be grateful to the
one who will teach me a few things on this subject from his personal
experience.
Note that my future web site won't be illegal at all and won't be
involved into any copyright fraud. I can't tell too much, but it will
be a little bit similar to a directory of web sites. There will be free
services and payable services as well.

Thanks for the help.
