One more reason why I wont't use the product.
I hate to bear a grudge, but they've chalked up too many boo-boos.
And this is far from the first time that Lavasoft has issued forth a hose, historically.

As a member of the linked forum states, ad-aware dosnt delete anything automaticaly. and they don't say what type of threat this item is detected as.

Steve

Life is like a Grapefruit, sort of orangey-yellow and dimpled on the outside, wet and squidgy in the middle, it's got pips inside too. Oh and some people have half a one for breakfast. Ford Prefect.

Right, but too many users accept offerings part and parcel.
I've righted many wrongs by telling the user to restore the quarantine files and then actually LOOK at what they consent to remove, but...
My beef runs way back to about three years ago when they left everyone hanging without updates (unannounced) while they developed their new line.

I agree with Carr, Adaware is taking a stance of proving that its users don't matter. They don't respond to much of anything and/or seem to care what people want...

I've stopped recommending them and highly suggest to everyone that utilizes them to not rely on this product for anything more than attempted removal.
