Launchpad - Page not found

I have just completed a standard install of CE 8 on my web server. It was very straight forward. However, when I go to start> programs > CE > Crystal Launchpad....The web browser says the page cannot be found. Did I miss something in the setup ?

Do you have web server configured. Go to "Administrative Services" in "Control Panel" and see if IIS is installed and running. This will be the first step to start.

Yes. IIS is running on the machine as my department is using this machine to host it's intranet site.

Open the Crystal Configuration Manager, there will be a toolbar button which will say "Enable/Disable Servers". Click on that, login with CE Admin account and make sure all the services are enabled.

Yes I have done that as well, I have done what I thought was everything correctly. I double checked what you suggested and all the check boxes are checked indicating that all the servers are enabled.

Any other ideas ??

It looks like you have pretty much checked everything. I would also look into IIS little bit more. When CE8 installs, it creates "crystal" as virual directory. Can you also check if it is there and it has all the files what launchpad is trying to open.

Also, write a small ASP file code and run it from Virtual directory, through browser to make sure that IIS is actually working.

Then in CCM, you might want to check the Web Connector and WCS to make sure they are listening to default port, 6401.

Last but not least, look into IIS it understands .CSP files. WCS is responsible for executing .CSP files, so in your case WCS is behaving wierdly.
