Launching COM dll from ASP in IIS 5.0 fails!!!

I have created a COM dll that makes use of the Createthread API,which is instantiated from ASP page and it worked fine with WIN NT.But when I moved my app to Win 2k/IIS 5.0 it fails for some reason.I don't get any error message but the progress bar in the browser never stops.

Any ideas?
