I need to start a 3270 session from an already existing intranet web site. The users all have Extra installed a standard folder on their c: drive. The site already has the user's login information stored in a cookie. I need to be able to either pass this information to the session or have the autostart macro retrieve it so that it can sign the user on and navigate through a few screens.

Any suggestions?

You can call open extra with the "...extra.exe mysession.???" command. Once that's done, I'm not sure how Extra would handle the startup macro. You should be able to set up a few objects to have your html code control extra.

While I've never tried this, it should work fine. Look at this FAQ to see the objects you need.
