Launch App on Uninstall

Can anyone tell me how I can launch my application as soon as it finishes installing? Also, I'm assuming it's possible to launch an application when the user decides to uninstall my app. How can I do this?

This depends on how you intend to deploy your application.

Woogoo, my application will be deployed as a standard MSI file. The user will launch the installer from an installation CD.

Well the documentation for the Setup and Deployment software you use will tell you how to create post and pre install actions.

Thanks woogoo. A while back I remember reading a post that had instructions on how to do this. I did a search here but couldn't find it.
