Launch an application in Excel

I have two cells(A1,A2) continously updated from external links in my worksheet...
Now I want to launch an application when the following condition is met.

if A2-A1>=2 then trigger or else wait for that condition...

Please guide me on how to program this..I need step by step procedure on how to program..I am newbie to computer programming

Yes, hmmm, you may need it, but...what have you tried yourself? Have you tried using Help?

Have you looked in any of the FAQ here?

Have you even just googled about this?

No offense, but this is not a Help desk, nor are we tutors. Except of course when we personally feel like doing so. Shrug...maybe someone will give you "step by step procedures"...but it would be better if you actually did some looking and tried something yourself. If you have actual, specific, problems, be glad to help.
