Guys,
if i am to use SYsback to store about 90gb of data using autolaoder tape drive, do i need to restore it to my DR site with Sysback installed as well?? and also, do i ned to use an autloader too for my DR or can i use an ordinary singe tape drive that matches my tape?
thanks a lot!

Sysback is an interesting product. It does what it does fairly well.

If you make a bootable "sysback" tape, it will put on the tape, all of the programs necessary to restore the files off the tape. You will not need a library. Sysback works with any style of tape drive.

However, if you don't make a "sysback" tape, but instead do a "mkvgback", "mkjfsback" or some other "mk*back" tape, you'll need the Sysback product installed to pull the files off the tape(s).

Bill.
