Is there a place where I can find the latest patches for Symposium 4.2? I'd really like to be able to do this myself and not have to open a ticket with my vendor and have them come out and do it. I've patched Symposium servers before, so I know what I'm doing.

Along these same lines, any idea about Call Pilot patches also?

You must have access to the Nortel Networks website to download it. I think you must also pay to have access to the MPL.

I just went through this and I'm still struggling with them on it.... If you go to the nortel website you can see it listed under utilities.

First thing you do is go here and register:

Then once you do that or if y ou have a login ID already you can go to "Technical Documentation". Choose the "browse for support" tab. Then on the Blank windows under it "Select from: Products A-Z"

Now just to make things easy choose "B" and then find "Business Communications Manager (BCM)" in the next window as it populates with data.

Once you select BCM the last window populates and pick "Tools" and hit "Go".

Here you will see two things:

S] KRS/KRS2 Utility (Key Codes)

S] Meridian PEP Library (MPL - PEPS)

When you click on either of them it says you "ACCESS DENIED".

Most of us fall under:

Possible Cause #3: You believe you are entitled to access this web application, but cannot request access through your Registration Profile.
Resolution: Contact your Nortel Networks Representative for details on requesting access. If you do not know who your Nortel Networks representative is, contact nortelnetworks.com website support.

They will tell you that unless you are an authorized Distributor or a Nortel Partner they don't generally give you access.

I'll never understand this mainly because they can choose to give you View or Download access. So I asked for View... mainly cause my "vendor" doesn't pass on the information fast enough. Nothing bugs me more to find out that what I am working on has a fix already.

I've still got an open support ticket for it so I'll certainly post again when I find out what happens. It certainly doesn't make any sense though not to allow at least view access so end-user sites can check their sanity after a long day of troubleshooting. I've certainly been to enough training to earn it :)
