Hey guys I installed the latest patch cluster in addition to about 80 extra ones -recommended from patchdiag-. Well after it gets done patching it fails to clear the /etc/mnttab I have to do it manually -machine thinks file systems are mounted when they are not- I also have to turn UFS logging off on my file systems since every reboot it causes me problems. Other then that the systems come up fine and work as required.

Anyone had anything like this before?

Yes, every time I've tried the entire "recommended", a bunch of things get broken. That's why I never do the "recommended". I now only use Solaris Patch Manager. It identifies ONLY the patches you need and installs them correctly and in proper order. Haven't had a single issue since using SPM.

See my comments in thread thread60-1259370 for usage information.

Yea that's the problem though I can't use that program since we are not on the Internet.
