Last known good boot file

Does anyone know if windows 2000 has a last known good boot file and if so - how do I get to it.....
And. not to push my luck with questions... when a program says it's logging the error and it doesn't show in the event viewer.. where is it.. We have corel draw... which starts to load and then says it's exe program generated an error and it is loggin the error.. I don't see it in the event viewer...... thanks in advance for the help
