Hi,
In one of my server last command showing the login & logout details upto Spe 10th only. I was checked /var/adm/wtmpx , this is getting update fine.
Is there any way to stop/start the last log.

You may have to flatten your utmp, wtmp, utmpx and wtmpx files. ONLY IF YOU DON'T MIND LOSING ALL THEIR CONTENTS. i.e:

[tt]cd /var/adm
>utmp >utmpx >wtmp >wtmpx[/tt]

There was a script on SunSolve for keeping a certain number of records in these files, but it was out of date and corrupted our files anyway when I tried it. Annihilannic.
