I have Laserjet 4000. When printing it makes noise, kind of chatters. I looked at print tray, seems ok, I took out toner unit and put back in. Same noise. Any ideas on what could be causing this weird noise and how to fix?
Thanks

I would try a Tonner Cartridge out of another hp 4000 or 4050 if you have one (thats working ok).

if not, check the coggs in the tonner cartridge and the ones inside the printer..

it sounds like a plastic cogg has lost a tooth..
