laserjet 4 sending docs to print multiple times

all users of the networked printer are reporting that although they request a document to print only once it is sending it to the printQ several times. I watched one of them request a document to print and at first it looked like it had only sent it once but after the item showed its status as printing it reappeared as ready and then went to printing again. Any ideas how to stop this? The printer is held on a Netware 5 system (not an NDPS Printer)

do you have copies on the printer on check the printer it self that no copies are set

Do you mean in the printer set up? I don't know but it doesn't happen with every print session so I shouldn't think so.
