LaserJet 3800n Paper jam reported

Hi,

I have a 3800n reporting a paper jam in tray 2. BUT there isnt any paper inside.

Is there any sensor that may be faulty or anything I can do.

I have cleaned the rollers and blew air through it trying to fix it, but with no success.

I would appreciate an idea of where to look next.

Steve, This printer tray is also used for the MP tray.
There are rollers under the front cover of the tray.
It will pop off if you lift up the inside edge.
Check there for movement, and / or debris.
Also check inside printer for the tray flag, and lift mech. Check it for the spring. If you have a numeric error that may point to something. tell us.
