laser printer pauses after every job

I have a HP 2100 laserprinter shared over a network of 23 Win98 computers using an NT 4.0 server.

My problem is that the printer keeps pausing after every job. Because the settings/printer options have been disabled on the 23 workstations, i have to unpause the printer from the server every time someone prints.

I have checked the spool drive and there is 3Gb of space.Spooling is activated in the settings using RAW.

Does anyone have any ideas, hopefully its a setting ive missed..thanks in advance : )
