Hi all,

If you are upgrading a Basic mode system from one major version to another, would a small (<32) upgrade license work, or does it absolutely have to be the large upgrade?

Dan

I blame Avaya.

According to the docs, Basic Edition cannot use the small license, you must use the large license. Might be worth getting essential edition and the small license for the price.

Basic Edition systems are automatically configured with either 48 or 100 users and so, cannot use a Small System Upgrade License
Standard Mode systems also require an Essential Edition system license in order to operate unless the system has a virtual Essential license

That's what I thought. Oh well, I guess Avaya gets their $$$ one way or another.

I blame Avaya.
