Just interested if there are many large UCA deployments out there ( above 100 clients).
Also how many people have UCA console installed and how successful the implementation has been .

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Have a customer running the UCA console and after some initial issues with losing connections to the UCA server ( customer caused by their security policies ) it has been working well. They have integrated to Active Directory to use its corporate directory rather then just relying on the one in the 3300. The also didn't want to have to update the AD sever and then the 3300 tel dir ( and visa versa ). They do not have a large number of UCA clients nor do any of our customers.

One thing to be aware of is "monitors" within the 3300. If you have a site where you sync to the 3300 to populate the corporate directory you cause the 3300 to open monitors for every extension and even key appearances on the phones. The monitors are to "monitor" the status of the phone such as busy or off hook. This information is then used to show the state of phones in the UCA Client. Anyway the different 3300 controllers and even different software loads only support a set number of monitors. So on large sites you may get constant error messages in the 3300 that it is out of or can't open monitors. MCD 5 doubles the number of monitors available but again different controllers support different numbers of monitors.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

We have a few sites using console [approx 4 sites with 1 console , 1 site with 8 ]
We also have a range of Deployments ranging from 5 users - 200 users , with most UCA features ( no OCS integration or federation).

What I was after was a feel for how the software is functioning from a support point of view.
and how the console was configured regarding LDN's

Not sure what you mean?

Ok Listed directory numbers LDN
- we have experimented with
1: setting the Receptionist as the main number and giving her multicalls of it for handling multiple calls
2: setting the Receptionist as a separate number and assigning the main number as a single line on a Virtual PKM and then adding the multicalls of it to her phone for handling multiple calls.

with each there are benefits and drawbacks

How do you nightswitch , do you use the UCA status's ?
How can you handle multiple Listed directory numbers ( for seperate companies ) etc?
How do you provision Multiple console operators to handle the same incoming numbers

Do the console operators get confused with the way the Multicalls ring on a phone ( all at once )?
