I have been tasked with the creation of a mail system that will scale to the millions of users. I am not limited to using open source sendmail but do have to include it in one of my recomendations. Does anyone know of a resource that would be useful to me? Or...
Is/Has anyone administering/setup a mail system of this magnatude?

Thank you.

Try <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> for some sendmail information. However, qmail is another alternative. Head over to <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> for more info. One advantage of qmail for you may be it's integration with LDAP. This is available as an add on "patch". There's a link to it from the qmail page.

--
Sendmail also provides the capabilities to use LDAP... I am aware that now both Qmail and Sendmail can use LDAP from this posting. But I am not aware how I can use both to handle user accounts, mail storage etc. Sendmail and Qmail is something new to me. I am aware how to use Exchange and Eudora.
