Large # of records + Large # of running totals

I am trying to run a report with a large number of running totals in a web based application using an activeX viewer. As long as the number of records is no more then about 800 the report runs fine. If there are more then 800 records the report runs, calculating the fields then when it comes time to display the report I recieve an "IEXPLORER.EXE - Application Error" Which reads "The instruction at "0x04d8feda" referenced memorey at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read". I have not been able to find what is causing this problem. I would appreaciate any help anyone could provide.
