situation:
An application has been developed which initially revolved around a PC tier (PCbased) access. They are now finding the size of the database (grown to 758Mb and 1.2Gb by next month) an impediment. Brigt idea: to move to middle tier using our Novell 5.0 file servers which currently house small (under 50mbs) msaccess apps and file and print services for around 250 users.
query:
Has anyone had experience or reports regarding this. I have no issues with the positives or the lack of. My concerns are the egatives which aren't clear cut. Can anyone shed some light. ========================================
