Hi All,

I'm designing slogans for 10 X 10 apparell (T-shirts).

72pt Arial Black in Adobe Photoshop produces the correct size but when printed (flattened or un-flattened) its slightly fuzzy at the edges. Its not horrible but it just doesn't have that professional feel.

I read somewhere that Photoshop isn't really for image creation and that one should use Illustrator. Can you get clean crisp text at that size using Illustrator?

Thanks,

Wilson.

A vector app like illustrator will almost always give you cleaner edges than a raster app like photoshop. However, if you use a VERY high resolution in Photoshop the edges should remain clean. While your file might end up huge, you can try making a new photoshop doc at about 1200-1800 dpi and see how that comes out.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Hi,

Thanks for the advice. I will give it a try.

Cheers,

Wilson.
