large firewall between 2 mans

hello , I need a big firewall box to pass through many to many users from one large organisation to another .At the moment we have a contivity 2700 but its not big enough .
The other large organisation use a pix firewall on their side . The public side of both boxes are connected giving double firewall protection between organistaions(legislation)
I would prefere a nortel solution ,
What would be a good box for this job with possibly 1000 users communicating each way.
Any help Guys ??

Do you have a need for high availabiltiy and throughput on this network.
If so take a look at the C30 or X40 from Crossbeam Systems.

They run Checkpoint Firewall-1 and the throughput and Security is fantastic.
