We are using 6.5.2 in a W2k environment. Running into files size issues. Both EDI/X12 and flat.
I have have a 410mb flat file that gets mapped to another file, aprox 330mb. The first map verifies record counts, amount totals etc... Then if totals validate properly the map, maps to our internal format. At that point it executes map B which inserts break points if specific record types occurr more frequently than our MF process is setup to handle.
Errors are most typically 'resource not available' and 'not enough memory'.
I'm running the map in burst mode with logs on and off. I've played a little with Pagesize/count, work file and memory, Sink and file outputs etc...
not sure what I'm doing wrong. The machine should have enough resources 2.4ghz, 1.5gb ram, 15gb free disk with a windows paging file set to 2048mb.
